Sony feelings come through in Qais designed site
The site allows visitors to create ‘expressions' made from thousands of palette objects that include illustrations, animations, music, sounds effects and words for users to manipulate, publish and share with friends, as well as vote for favourite submissions.
"The challenge was to create something that would allow anyone to fully express themselves - whatever their creative ability. From what we're seeing on the site, we've succeeded in this. It's a pleasure to watch the site grow and each day I see such inventive and creative submissions, things we'd never have thought possible during the pre-launch testing. The launch of the site is just the beginning for us - the real genius comes from the users themselves," Joe Zandstra, ECD and VP strategy for Qais Consulting said.
Zandstra also said that reaching such consumers who are often marketing-averse, is difficult and the solution was to capture people's imagination without being seen to force marketing messages to them.
