Know the right buttons to press with these tech-savvy editors.

1. Target audience? Serious tech buyers aged 20 to 40 mainly.

2. Main focus? Balancing our mix of talk (gadgets/features that get people talking), test (reviews/shootouts) and try (optimising or setting-up your purchases better) articles are our main content focus.

3. USP? Readers are given the authority to decide if a review is worth their time, money and lifestyle interests. 

4. Preferred PR approach? Email pitches angled to what our magazine does and writes about. 

5. Worst time? Around lunch.

6. Preferred day in attending events? None. 

7. Deadlines and materials? By the 13th of the prior month.

8. Dos and don'ts when approaching you? Understand what we do, and why we do it.

9. Best PR approach so far? Trust that we know what we're doing after we attend an event.

10. Your attitude towards a free lunch? As long as there's no agenda.

2. Main focus? PC related technologies, products and solutions, as well as the extended ecosystem such as digital cameras, MP3 players, PDA phones, etc.

3. USP? Technically proficient editorial team. Unbiased reviews of both hardware and applications. Well researched features.

4. Preferred PR approach? Email and then phone call.

5. Worst time? None.

6. Preferred day in attending events? Mondays to Fridays are fine.

7. Deadlines and materials? First week of the preceding month.

8. Dos and don'ts when approaching you? Appreciate prompt replies. Press kits should come with high resolution images, prices and local information of vendors/distributors. When images are requested for print, they should not come in resolutions good for the web.

9. Best PR approach so far? Concise, precise and informative replies.

10. Your attitude towards a free lunch? No reservations as long as there aren't any expectations.

2. Main focus? Unabashedly tech gadgets and cool gear.

3. USP? Well balanced with overseas and local content.

4. Preferred PR approach? A simple email is fine, and I'm open to friendly informal calls.

5. Worst time? Don't call me before 11am.

6. Preferred day in attending events? The first or last weeks of a month.

7. Deadlines and materials? The 10th for product reviews and the 15th for news articles and images.

8. Dos and don'ts when approaching you? There's no need for formal pitches - a simple email usually works fine.

9. Best PR approach so far? Personal relationships are very important to get the right messages communicated.

10. Your attitude towards a free lunch? Lunches are never 'free'. At the very least, they're a great way to build personal relationships, so I'm always available.

2. Main focus? Addressing the post-purchase imaging market through opinion pieces, walkthroughs, contests and events-related initiatives.

3. USP? Our value is the opinions readers get on the photos or videos they've shot, ways to improve and the equipment they need.

4. Preferred PR approach? The personal approach is better. Make sure your product is relevant.

5. Worst time? Any time is fine.

6. Preferred day in attending events? Not in the middle of the month.

7. Deadlines and materials? No later than the 12th.

8. Dos and don'ts when approaching you? Be honest about your products and don't hide the event under a ‘digital lifestyle' banner.

9. Best PR approach so far? "Wanna trip to New York, mate?"

10. Your attitude towards a free lunch? I prefer smaller events that hit out at a more responsive audience.
