CNBC signs sponsorship deal with NZ industry body

Asia Pacific - CNBC Asia Pacific has inked a programme sponsorship deal with the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise for a week-long edition of its Squawk Box programme called Squawk Box on the Road: New Zealand.

The programme sponsorship - which will involve CNBC's Squawk Box broadcasting live from Auckland and Wellington for a week in mid-October, will feature interviews with personalities from New Zealand. The programme will also be complemented by a three month on-air advertising campaign.

Squawk Box is CNBC's flagship morning programme that targets the C-suite audience - New Zealand Trade and Enterprise's second sponsorship this year with CNBC Asia Pacific.

"Having previously worked with CNBC Asia Pacific with good results, we look forward to attaining further awareness and exposure for the New Zealand business community amongst CNBC's core audience base of corporate decision makers in the Asia Pacific region," Grant McPherson, regional director, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise said.
