Hong Kong - Visa International has launched an Olympic-themed print campaign featuring local athletes aimed at reinforcing the company's commitment to the Olympic movement and support for the grassroots sports community.

The BatesAsia 141 conceptualised print campaign features Team Visa, comprising windsurfer Chan King Yin, table tennis player Li Ching, swimmer Sze Hang Yu and Paralympics athlete So Wai Wai.

The campaign also includes a dedicated website where Hong Kong people could write messages of encouragement to render their support to the local athletes representing in the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

"Team Visa athletes reflect the spirit of Visa - to empower people to get more out of life. As one of The Olympic Partnership Program sponsors and the official payment partner of the 2008 Games, Visa is committed to supporting the Olympic movement and the growth of sports. It therefore gives us great pleasure to support the local sporting elite in their quest to reach the Olympic Games next year," Chris Clark, senior vice president and general manager for Visa International Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Philippines said.

Plans are also made on launching an outdoor campaign in the coming weeks.
