Hong Kong- Carat Hong Kong's managing director Stewart Li is leaving the agency in mid-September to pursue a new venture related to the China market.
Li, who broke the news of his departure in a Carat newsletter said his decision to leave was "one of the hardest decisions I have had to make because my leadership of Carat Hong Kong has been an amazing experience".
Li also said Pauline Chu, current senior vice-president of Carat would replace him -- she will be promoted to general manager of the Hong Kong agency.
Under Li's leadership at Carat in the last three years, the agency has evolved from a media planning and buying agency to an integrated agency with strong communications planning and digital offering as well as doubled in size due to new business wins.
