Asia Pacific - Publicis has announced the internal promotion of Matthew Godfrey to the role of CEO of its Asian operations - Godfrey assumes his new position on 1 August and succeeds regional chairman Guillaume Lévy-Lambert who takes on the role of non-executive chairman.
Lévy-Lambert was responsible for the formation of the company's network in Asia Pacific and held his post for a decade - he will continue to advise the organisation on Asian issues in his new role.
The agency has also expanded Calvin Soh's role to include the additional position of vice chairman - Soh is the agency's chief creative officer Asia while Godfrey, who joined Publicis in 2006 from BatesAsia, is currently chief operating officer.
