Singapore positioned as weekend wonderland

Singapore - The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched its Uniquely Singapore Weekends campaign in seven regional markets aimed at attracting more visitors and positioning Singapore as a weekend getaway.

The campaign has launched in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Chennai, Guangzhou, Jakarta, Johor Bahru, and on the weekend of 10 to 12 August, the campaign launches in Singapore for the next 52 weekends. Advertising appears in print, broadcast media, OOH, online as well as search engine marketing through MSN, Yahoo and Hotmail, and contests and events.

Y&R Singapore handled creatives and according to STB, the concept of Uniquely Singapore Weekends "rests on the fact that on any given weekend in Singapore, there are already many experiences that visitors can enjoy".
