Le Ann Maxima matches up with SPRG
Malaysia - Local fashion brand, Le Ann Maxima has appointed SPRG Malaysia to support its growth in the local market and region.
In addition to being entrusted with the client's brand building and corporate communications responsibilities, the agency will also assist the fashion house in preparing for its planned regional expansion.
The account was awarded in January 2011 on an annual retainer basis, with no formal pitch process involved, after the company approached several agencies.
Ivan Poon, GM of e-Maxim Fashion which owns the Le Ann Maxima label, said the appointment was made based on SPRG's ability to meet the brand's requirements.
"Their professional approach was ideal and we believe we can build a partnership with the agency in exposing and expressing a coherent brand image across the domestic and regional markets," said Poon.
Commenting on the appointment, Stefanie Braukmann, GM, SPRG Malaysia said: "We are excited to work with Le Ann Maxima as it is a company with strong propositions. We believe we can work well together in further strengthening their local presence as they prepare to embark into the international market, namely the Asian region."
Le Ann Maxima was created and owned by e-Maxim Fashion, founded by three friends ten years ago. It recently opened its ninth boutique in the country, making it the eighth franchised outlet for the brand which operates its own flagship store as well.
The fashion label embarked on its "intelligent" franchise system two years ago with the aim of accelerating expansion of its Le Ann Maxima chain of outlets.
