SE Asia - Grey Group's global marketing services network G2 has announced the appointment of Nirvik Singh to the post of CEO, G2, Asia Pacific.
This new role is an expansion of his current remit as president of Grey Group South/SE Asia - in his newly created role, Singh is tasked with leading the growth of the G2 network in Asia Pacific. He reports to Joe Celia, G2 Worldwide chairman and CEO, as well as to Grey Group Asia Pacific chairman and CEO, Mike Amour.
"This move is a well deserved recognition of Nirvik's significant contributions to the growth of Grey Group's business in the region. Nirvik has been responsible for achieving success in our SE Asian operations delivering profitability, installing dynamic management and delivering award winning creative work in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia," Amour said.
"Asia is a massive growth opportunity for our industry, and marketing services is the fastest growing segment. My remit is to make the G2 global mission become a leading full service Activation Marketing network in this region and I am excited by the opportunities that lie ahead," Singh said.
Singh started his advertising career with JWT and thereafter joined Grey India where he oversaw Grey's Kolkata operation. He then moved to helm Grey India and in 1997, was promoted to the role of COO Grey South Asia.
