Band welcomes new staff

Singapore - Marketing and advertising agency Band has made two hires with the appointment of ex-Philippines-based Smart Communications staffer Ericson G Dela Cruz as new Account Manager and ex-freelance copywriter Russell Kok.

"I'm pleased to be working for Band on such top-tier accounts, and relish the opportunity to also develop new business for the company," said Dela Cruz, who handles the agency's Cisco and Datacraft businesses. Prior to Smart Communications stint, Dela worked as Strategic Promotional Specialist at Ogilvy and Mather Philippines on clients such as Pond's, Dove, Kodak, Chivas Regal, Tang and Huggies.

Kok spent the last two years freelancing copy for clients such as Canon and HSBC. Before that, he was a corporate banking officer at DBS.
