Published: Jul 19, 2007 Singapore - Marketing believes that XM Asia Pacific and Qais Consulting have been shortlisted for the final round of the UOB pitch for an agency to revamp its website - UOB declined to name agencies but confirms that the process of evaluating other digital agencies is still ongoing.
"UOB has invited digital agencies to review and revamp its current website. Selected digital agencies were invited to present their credentials, concepts, strategic ideas and we have shortlisted several agencies but are still in the process of evaluating other digital agencies. With customers becoming more internet savvy, we recognise the necessity to enhance their online experience. This revamp is in line with our continued efforts to improve our products and services to better meet the evolving needs of our customers," UOB said in a statement. Neither XM nor Qais Consulting would confirm the news however the latter was able to reveal news on another front - Astro has selected the agency to define a new online strategy and lead the revamp of its website. "Astro has extensive relationships with customers through its satellite TV, film, radio and magazine publishing operations. It has an opportunity to use its online properties to integrate and enhance customer experiences, and through that to develop new advertiser offerings," Keith Timimi, CEO for Qais Consulting said. |
