JCU Singapore appoints PurpleClick
SOCIAL MEDIA APPOINTMENTS PURPLECLICK MEDIA
Singapore – James Cook University (JCU) Singapore has appointed PurpleClick Media as its SEM/SEO Strategist in a bid to enhance its traditional marketing approach with a well-developed regional electronic and social media strategy.
Leonard Tan, CEO of PurpleClick Media said, “There is a major shift in media habits in the world today and how individuals select their educational institutions. This posts a constant challenge to engage these markets and attract them with the right message.”
JCU Singapore launched its Facebook and Twitter accounts in late 2010. Within five months of low cost viral marketing, the school has shot up in its rankings as a university and private education institution in Singapore.
Keen to introduce its Australian higher education in Singapore to prospective students in key regional markets, Wee Heng, manager of electronic marketing & alumni communications for JCU Singapore said the decision to partner PurpleClick is based on its “proven SEM/SEO track records with clients with regional portfolio”.
