Hong Kong -Synovate has appointed Darryl Andrew, Jill Telford and Tim Balbirnie as CEOs to head up the three strategic units in China, North Asia and South Asia respectively, in efforts to drive further growth in the fast-developing Asian region.
"The opportunities for growth in Asia remain enormous and the new structure will further sharpen Synovate's focus on this part of the world and ensure we are in an ideal position to meet our clients' needs and help them maximise their potential in this region," Adrian Chedore, CEO for Synovate Global said.
The formation of the three smaller business unit groupings forms part of the global ongoing 'From Now to Wow' programme announced in August 2006.
Shanghai based Andrew, who assumed responsibility as Synovate China's MD since 2003 will be promoted to CEO of Synovate's strategic unit in China. Synovate North Asia, comprising Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, will be helmed by Jill Telford, the current MD of Synovate Hong Kong for the past seven years. While Tim Balbirnie will head up Synovate South Asia in charge of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
The new appointments and structure will be effective 1 August.
