PHD appoints Chong to senior role

Malaysia - PHD Malaysia has announced the appointment of Audrey Chong (pic) to the role of senior business director with immediate effect.

In her new role, Chong will be reporting to Josie Lim, COO of PHD Malaysia and be responsible for driving the growing network's strategic business planning capabilities.

"We are very pleased to have Audrey join our team. PHD is growing from strength to strength and we have been on the lookout for dynamic leaders who epitomise the challenger brand spirit," said Lim.

"Audrey has a strong track record and fantastic understanding of the media landscape in Malaysia. With her passion for media innovation coupled with her key account management experience, she is definitely a great addition to our team," she added.

Chong joined the network with more than a decade worth of experience in the media and marketing arena, managing agency teams and driving new business. She started her career with Bates Advertising back in the 1990s, and has most recently worked for Optimedia and Starcom.

During the course of her career has worked on several blue-chip brand names including DiGi, CIMB, L'Oreal and Tourism Malaysia.
