Asia Pacific - Ogilvy Healthworld Australia, the healthcare communications arm of Ogilvy Worldwide has added a new division - Fibre Ogilvy , which will specialise in interactive, relationship, cause and social marketing efforts.
Fibre Ogilvy will be headed by Rob James, who will also undertake the role of creative services director for Ogilvy Healthworld Australia's across the entire Australian business.
The news is part of the company's long term strategy to provide healthcare clients with more strategic and insight based channels to explore and implement.
Fibre Ogilvy will supplement Ogilvy Healthworld Australia's in the country's active healthcare marketing space, with Ogilvy Healthworld adding significant accounts such as Janssen, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson in 2007.
"More and more we are seeing the healthcare industry looking for new and exciting ways to reach healthcare professionals, patients, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and other stakeholders as they become more difficult to engage by the usual methods. This is not only present in Australia but is seen across the Asia Pacific region, and we intend to offer Fibre Ogilvy to our clients who are facing this clear and present challenge," Graham Edwards, Asia Pacific president ,Ogilvy Healthworld said.
