Singapore - The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) together with the National Arts Council (NAC) have announced the launch of a branding initiative called The Singapore Season in China 2007.
The Singapore Season is part of a multi-agency effort to showcase Singapore as a global city with a unique multi-cultural heritage and vibrant arts scene. First launched in London in 2005, the Singapore Season in China 2007 is aimed at helping Singapore companies operating in China raise their brand profile and awareness in both Beijing and Shanghai.
The month long programme, will feature prominent art groups and performers like the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO), Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) and Singapore pop star JJ Lin.
O&M has been tasked with marketing efforts for the Singapore Season in China 2007, with print advertisements and banners that will be launched in Beijing and Shanghai.
The Singapore Season will debut in Beijing and Shanghai from 12 October to 10 November 2007.
