Singapore - Leo Burnett Singapore Deputy Managing Director Rosalynn Tay has decided to call it a day after almost three years at the ad agency. Tay could not be reached for comment, but it is understood she has been offered a position to pursue other opportunities outside of the advertising world. It is not known yet which company Tay will be joining.

In her role is Deputy Managing Director at Leo Burnett, Tay was responsible for a number of businesses, with McDonald's and GM Chevrolet her main clients. Thomas Sonenberg has since taken over Tay's responsibilities on the local and regional McDonald's accounts.

"Ros was a dedicated and passionate team player who brought a lot of energy to the Burnett team, and whilst it is of course a sad occasion to say goodbye, I respect her decision to pursue other opportunities," said Phil McDonald, Managing Director of Leo Burnett Singapore, adding that the company expects to announce a replacement for Tay next year.

Prior to her joining Leo Burnett, Tay was Marketing Director for eight years at KFC, Tri-Con Restaurant International in the UK. Before that, she was Group Account Director at Ogilvy Singapore.
