Singapore - Media Planning Group (MPG) has won the global Credit Suisse media account, worth around US$100 million (S$152.09 million), beating Carat, ZenithOptimedia and Mediaedge:cia in the review.
Credit Suisse's local advertising duties will be handled by MPG Singapore, and sister agency Media Contacts will be responsible for online media.
Initiative, which has held the Credit Suisse account since 2003 was knocked out of the pitch after the first round. The global account includes advertising for the First Boston brand, as well as Credit Suisse's investment banking, private banking and asset management arms.
"MPG has an acknowledged expertise in corporate and financial advertising. We have developed innovative, consumer-focused communications strategies for many of the world's leading financial brands and I am thrilled we have the chance to do the same with Credit Suisse," Stuart Clark, general manager, MPG Singapore, told Marketing.
