Changi Airport extends brand with Changi Class
Published: Jul 06, 2007 Singapore - Singapore Changi Airport has launched a new lifestyle magazine called Changi Class - the new monthly publication replaces the fortnightly tabloid Changi Express. The magazine features personality profiles, travel tips and destination insights and also promotes the shopping and dining services available at the airport. It will be distributed in the departure transit halls of Terminals 1, 2 and 3, the latter when it is opened in 2008. Kwan Shu Qin, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) corporate communications officer told Marketing the decision to retire the two-year-old Changi Express was made in line with the branding of Changi Airport - while Changi Express was styled more as a tabloid that offered time-sensitive and quick news, Changi Class will be a longer read for passengers. "Changi Class encapsulates what the ‘Changi Experience' is all about - exciting, vibrant and enjoyable. It will bring to life the Changi brand and extend it beyond the airport," CAAS director-general Lim Kim Choon said. At press time CAAS could not immediately revert with comments on its audit intentions. Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Related Stories:
