Hong Kong - JCDecaux Texon has promoted Ivy Lau to sales director, filling the void left by Simon Siu who was promoted to assistant general manager last October. In her new position, Lau will play a greater role in overseeing the bus shelter advertising business, exploring new business opportunities and devising sales strategy.
"Ivy's promotion is recognition of her ability to both answer customers' needs and identify new solutions for bus shelter advertising. Her mission will be to articulate the benefits of the medium to a broader advertiser base and to encourage trial of new products and networks," Ashley Stewart, CEO for JCDecaux Texon said.
Based in the Hong Kong office, Lau reports directly to Simon Siu, assistant general manager for JCDecaux Texon.
Lau joined the JCDecaux Group on transit advertising in 1998 and as senior account manager selling bus shelter advertising at JCDecaux Texon in 2000 where she was later promoted to sales manager in 2004. Her last promotion was in October last year as associate sales director responsible for leading the bus shelter network advertising team.
