Saatchi & Saatchi makes new appointments to Brand team

Singapore - Saatchi & Saatchi recently appointed two new members to its Brand Management team, seeing in Paul Tan as Senior Brand Director and Jun Shea as Brand Manager. Both work together on the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and Borneo Motors (Toyota) brands. “One of my key tasks involves overseeing the team, running the business and maintaining our creative standards and profitability,” said Tan, who reports to Frederic Eng, Business Director at Saatchi & Saatchi. “Maintaining the high creative standards set in the past 21 years on the Navy business and continuing the good work done by the previous team are just some of the challenges I look forward to tackling.” Shea reports to Tan and will work closely with him and Eng to grow brands through “delivering outstanding creative work that effectively meets clients’ business objectives”. “The Republic of Singapore Navy and Toyota are well-established and our long-time brand partners -- my challenge will be to raise the bar by injecting fresh perspectives to push the brands to new frontiers,” she said. Tan was previously with Bates Singapore as Account Director on Nokia for two years. Prior to that, he was at AdXplorer and M&C Saatchi. Before joining Saatchi & Saatchi, Shea was also with Bates where she spent two years as Account Manager on Heineken Singapore, working at McCann Erickson prior to that. Although Shea and Tan left Bates a month apart from each other, Shea called their departure timings Bates “purely coincidental”.
