Arc creates microsite marrying Ascott, Quidam

Singapore - Arc Worldwide Singapore (“Arc WW”) has created a microsite for the Ascott International Group to mark the latter’s sponsorship of accommodation for the performers of Cirque Du Soleil act Quidam, with the aims of this initiative designed to strengthen its association with the acrobatic group, drive online booking for its apartments and encourage visitors to sign up for the Ascott’s Loyalty Programme for promotional offers. “We were entrusted to reposition Ascott International, which in the past has been seen as accommodation for long term business travellers only,” said Paul Soon, Business Management Director at ARC WW. “To overcome this perception and reposition the apartments as a place to stay for any visitor, we created a through the line experience to showcase the unique essence of the Ascott.” The Flash microsite -- which also features an online contest for new Loyalty Programme applicants -- offers a virtual journey through the Ascott apartments, with Quidam characters acting as tour guides. The campaign is also supported by outdoor banners, print ads, other offline collateral and targeted e-mail marketing in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand to further drive traffic to the site.
