Singapore - After almost three months as country marketing manager for Nike Singapore, Magdalene Ew is set to leave the company to join race promoter for the Singapore F1 Grand Prix, Singapore GP as sales and marketing director.

She will be responsible for driving marketing, sales initiatives and corporate hospitality and will make the move across shortly as the terms of her notice period are currently being ironed out.

She joined Nike on 19 March as a replacement for then outgoing country marketing manager, Christine Amour - Ew was previously director of marketing and communications and then senior director for marketing partnerships for regional broadcaster MTV. She was there for six years.

At press time, Ew could not come back for comments.

In other news, Singapore GP has also hired Chris Koh as sales, marketing and ticketing manager responsible for all aspects of the ticketing operation for the Singapore Grand Prix. She previously headed the client services department at SISTIC.
