Singapore - Axe Vice and BBH Asia Pacific has followed up on its print campaign featuring how Axe Vice can turn ‘nice' girls naughty, with an online campaign revolving around a simulated stalker.
The campaign targets men aged 18 to 25, encouraging them to set their friends up with a virtual stalker through online or SMS means. Through email, individuals can enter their friend's particulars online, activating the stalker named Sandi to engage with the ‘victim' via email dialogue. Sandi will tempt the person to join her mysapce-like friend's circle and upon viewing the site, he will see Sandi's entire page devoted to him with pictures, blog entries, and a video clip of Sandi showing off her tattoo of his name. Through SMS, an individual can enter their friend's number for Sandi to engage in SMS dialogue, slowly becoming more outrageous and flirtatious with every exchange.
"With our ‘Axe Vice Virtual Naughty Girl', we were able to reach out to tech-savvy young men in countries with a broadband penetration of less than 10% and a negligible penetration of 3G phones. The SMS component was critical in ensuring the overall success of the campaign," Tina Wang, account director for BBH Asia Pacific said in a statement.
‘Victims' can be set up at axeviceasia.com.
