Hong Kong: Leo Burnett has promoted Antoni d'Esterre as global brand director in charge of P&G's Rejoice and Pert brands and he will be based in the Hong Kong office.
Michelle Kristula-Green, president for Leo Burnett Asia Pacific said, "He has worked across several key territories and brings a considerable wealth of knowledge and expertise to this role. We have very specifically selected Antoni for this job and his brief is to drive the growth of the Rejoice and Pert brands globally. Antoni's move to Hong Kong is reflective of the importance of Greater China and the wider Asia Pacific region, both to P&G and to Leo Burnett".
"His experience, not only on P&G, but also with luxury style brands including Ferragamo, Cartier, Dior and Lancome brings fresh thinking to the party and I very much looking forward to seeing the results of his involvement," Warren Guthrie, executive vice president Leo Burnett Chicago said.
d'Esterre reports to Kristula-Green and Guthrie.
Previously at Beacon, Leo Burnett's joint-venture agency with Dentsu, in Tokyo, D'Esterre was responsible for the strategic development and growth of the Head and Shoulders, Herbal and Wella brands. Prior to Beacon, he worked at Saatchi & Saatchi for eight years in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
