Optimism is key for Coca-Cola
Singapore - Play Imaginative (PI) and Coca-Cola recently collaborated to organise a two month long online design contest in a bid to align Coca-Cola with the theme of 'optimism'.
The competition was tagged 'A Better Tomorrow' and the call for designs attracted over 4000 entries from 17 different countries. The 15 winning designs, which will feature in Play Imaginative's new trexi toys, were chosen based on Coca-Cola bearing characteristics of being 'honest' and 'uplifting', and that reflected 'optimistic' moments in life.
"We are pleased with the art that these new designers from around the world submitted for this competition. While each art piece was very unique they all shared a message of optimism and a belief about the possibility of seeing a better tomorrow which was inspiring," Andres Kiger, director of worldwide licensing and retail operations for The Coca-Cola Company said.
A similar campaign involving PI's trexi toys and Coca-Cola was launched last May to coincide with the World Cup.
