Singapore - Experiential marketing agency, The Works Asia (TWA) has been selected to run a regional project for Yahoo social media property and online photo sharing website, Flickr.

"We were looking for an agency with a proven track record of delivering consumer experiences that bring brands to life through unique and memorable experiences. For Flickr, we want to reward our most active consumers by creating opportunities for them to interact with each other and meet the people behind the site," Dzurina Zainal, regional marketing manager for Yahoo said.

The work involves conceptualisation and execution of a series of brand-owned events for consumers in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Manila - creating invite only, multi sensory event experiences involving an interactive showcase of life size images revealing to guests, the moment and location the photographs were taken.

"In an age where the consumer is in control, the way to reach them is no longer by telling and showing, but by connecting, involving and engaging. With our core team of experts from various marketing disciplines, we devise lifestyle campaigns that are built around consumer-generated content, amplified through events, the web and PR," Tanya Wilson, PR and experiential director for TWA said.

TWA opened in Singapore in late 2005 and its first client was Tiger Beer, and with offices in London and Sydney, the agency has launched TTL campaigns for brands such as Canon, Heineken, Jim Beam and Philips.
