Hong Kong - Neo@Ogilvy has hired Raymond Leung (pictured), former business director, digital at OMD as media planning director.

He replaces Nick Barger and will be tasked to oversee all aspects of the agency's operation from planning, buying to consulting.

Leung will also be responsible to ensure the quality of the agency's work from both the strategic and creative aspects.

He reports directly to Kitty Wong, managing director for OgilvyOne Worldwide Hong Kong.

Wong said media planning and buying is only one of the facets in today's complex digital marketing world.

She explained that there are many different digital channels which play key roles in a customer's journey and Neo@Ogilvy offers integrated solutions to customers and aims to bring out the benefits of different channels including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media and mobile.

"We are happy to have Raymond to take the reins as the leader of Neo@Ogilvy in Hong Kong. His experience and expertise will be key to pushing our digital marketing offerings to new heights."

Leung has close to 15 years of experience working in digital media. Prior to Neo@Ogilvy, he has been working at OMD for the past nine years.

Before that, he worked at the Web Connection, a subsidiary of Chinadotcom corporation that offers internet strategies and solutions for big corporations and dot com startups. Other agencies he worked at include McCann Erickson Guangming and DMB&B that was acquired by Publicis and closed in 2002.
