WE and Buchan extend reach through alliance

Asia Pacific - Waggener Edstrom Worldwide (WE) and Australia-based Buchan Consulting have announced an affiliation agreement which will see both agencies leveraging on each other's networks to extend their reach in Asia Pacific.

The agreement to collaborate will work to broaden Buchan Consulting's reach outside Australia with an emphasis on Asia Pacific, as well as provide WE with an Australian presence.

"Our collaboration with WE is already benefiting current clients from both agencies, and we are working on a number of new business opportunities from across the WE global network," Tom Buchan, managing director and founder of Buchan said. "We are looking forward to a long relationship with Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, one that yields commercial advantage and global opportunities for our people."

In Asia Pacific, WE has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and China while Buchan's offices are located in Sydney and Melbourne. Buchan Consulting services clients such as ANZ Bank, QBE Insurance and Mercer and WE handles the Microsoft and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) accounts, amongst others.
