His experiential marketing remit extends globally and his primary role involves the strategic management and execution of Tiger Translate, a global lifestyle platform to engage young adults globally. Gerard reports to Lizzy Johnson, senior marketing manager. Before he joined APBS in 2002, Gerard worked for Blommberg in a content development role. Who: Jeremy Seow To: Yahoo SE Asia, manager, communications From: Edelman Public Relations, senior account executive Seow joins Yahoo in a regional role with a focus on communications to Yahoo's stakeholders from across SE Asia and reports to Jason Coates, senior manager, communications. While at Edelman, Seow worked on Cable & Wireless, Mercury Interactive, Zuji, SAS, World Cyber Games, Microsoft Hardware and Xbox. Before that, he was with Fleishman-Hillard's Technology team. Who: Daniel Chong To: MediaCorp Publishing, assistant manager, marketing From: The Arts House, project executive MediaCorp Publishing appointed Chong in a bid to push marketing efforts for the entertainment genre titles in the group. Chong will oversee and manage marketing for 8 Days - this includes procuring and securing promotional tie-ups with various partners, as well as generating greater awareness for the title. He reports to Joseph Dorall, senior manager, marketing. Prior to joining MediaCorp, Chong worked at The Arts House where he was in charge of venue hires, managing events and sales and client servicing. Who: Heidi van Dort To: Initiative Singapore, account manager From: Ikon Communications, manager Van Dort reports to account director Fiona Sim and works on the ING, Computer Associates, Starwood and Patek Philip accounts. She was previously based in Sydney where she handled brands such as Volkswagen, LG, Nivea, McDonald's, Athlete's Foot and Elizabeth Arden - besides Ikon, she also served at OMD as senior planner. Who: Rodin Tan To: Fly Entertainment, PR and marketing marketing manager From: Fridae.com, account servicing and events and PR manager Tan oversees PR, publicity, marketing and promotions for Fly Entertainment's artistes and the company's new video production division, Fly Productions. He reports to CEO Irene Ang and COO Lim Soo Ann and replaces Belinda Auyong. Besides Fridae.com, he has also worked at 360 Communications and MediaCorp Studios. Who: Nilesh Pritam To: Vocanic, business development director From: Hill & Knowlton Qatar, account director Reporting to Ian Mckee, CEO of Vocanic, Pritam is in charge of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and working with the client engagement team to grow existing client relationships, as well as raising awareness in the industry and to stakeholders of the company and its offerings. He has worked on both agency and client-side in Singapore and the Middle East. Prior to his stint in Qatar, he was PR manager with Valuair, and also worked with Porter Novelli Convergence Group. Who: Loreana Chew To: Raffles Town Club, PR and marketing manager From: Ministry of Transport, assistant director, corporate communications Chew joins Raffles Town Club as PR and marketing manager where she strategises and manages the publicity, marketing, media relations, A&P, branding, member relations and reciprocal arrangements needs for the Club. She reports to GM Ali Alavi. Chew has also worked at Nanyang Technological University where she was assistant director, corporate communications. |
