Miss Universe Malaysia strikes online pose

Malaysia - Advertlets.com has signed on to be the official online partner for the revamped Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 (MUMO) beauty pageant.
Through this sponsorship agreement, Advertlets' network of bloggers will be engaged to this year's pageant which should also increase traffic to the official MUMO website.
"Blogging is now closer to mainstream than ever, and not restricted to those who are technically gifted," Josh Lim, managing director for Advertlets.com, said.
"We have quite a fair number of celebrities and models within the Advertlets Network who blog regularly and we feel that this blogging concept for the contestants will go very well with the new reality show format," he said.
The partnership will allow sponsors to have additional exposure, according to Lim.
Existing sponsors include Parkson, Fly FM, Royale Chulan Hotel, A Cut Above and Orchan Consulting Asia while MUMO is still open to adding to this list.
MUMO will tap on Advertlets to offer a more comprehensive online presence this year and online activities will be incorporated into the contest's new structure. The idea is to add more excitement to each contestant's experience and journey - they will be tested on their writing and expression skills through blog documentation.
The grand finale will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 15 May.
