Singapore - Marketing has confirmed Komoco Motors, distributor of Hyundai cars, has shifted its business from Crush Advertising to 360 Communications - the agency won the account in a competitive pitch.
"We are ecstatic about the win because this is the car account we always wanted - this is one area we can grow along with the brand," Frederick Seah, MD of 360 Communications said.
The agency will handle through-the-line work for the retainer account and has already launched a pre-GST promotion campaign for Hyundai.
As reported by Marketing's November bulletin last year, Crush was appointed the account following then agency The Alchemy Partnership parting ways with the distributor in July 2006.
Komoco declined comment.
