NTUC hires marketing director amidst changes

Singapore - NTUC Income has appointed Lynette Ang as its new marketing director as part of the company's restructuring efforts.

Ang was previously marketing director at APL, which is part of the NOL group, and has held global responsibilities for branding and marketing. She was also one of the pioneers of the standalone e-Bank, finatiq.com, serving as chief marketing officer.

The restructuring will see GM of marketing division for NTUC Income, Anthony Chia leave the company on 1 July.  Two other GM's will also leave under the restructuring including Toi See Jong who is GM of Life and Health Division, and Nicholas Rhodes who actually resigned late last month as appointed actuary.

"Since February this year, when I took over as the CEO, NTUC Income has rolled out several new business initiatives. The hiring of new talent and the organisational restructuring is part of an ongoing renewal process. We will continue to review our businesses in order to fulfill our ambition to become a first rate financial institution," Tan Suee Chieh, chief executive for NTUC income said.

Among other expanded portfolios, the internal restructuring means GM of corporate services division, Chan Tee Seng has been appointed as GM of Group and Health division.
