Weber names new group account dir
WEBER SHANDWICK APPOINTMENT PEOPLE
- Karen Yap is the new group account director for Weber Shandwick
- Prior to this, Yap was with Standard Chartered Bank
Malaysia – Weber Shandwick Malaysia has appointed Karen Yap as its new group account director, responsible for development and execution of communications and media initiatives.
She will also be responsible for business development, strategic programme planning as well as developing creative concepts.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Yap was the corporate affairs senior manager at Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad.
"We are delighted to have someone of Karen’s calibre join us. Her strengths as a strategic communicator and her skills set in the areas of issue and crisis management, corporate brand protection and CSR campaign development are a valuable asset to our clients," Rozani Jainudeen, GM of Weber Shandwick Malaysia said.
