Arc Korea bags Merrill Lynch
Korea - The marketing services arm of Leo Burnett, Arc Worldwide Korea, has won the brand communications business for Merrill Lynch after a pitch against two other agencies.
Arc Worldwide will formulate communications and creative strategies to enhance the brand reputation of Merrill Lynch in Korea, with a special focus on its derivatives product.
Targeting beginners in such products, Arc will launch an integrated campaign to alter traditional consumer perceptions on liquidity provider through multiple channels including print, outdoor and digital.
"With the rapid development of the derivatives market in Korea, we see great business and creative potentials for such international financial consultancies as Merrill Lynch," said DongWook Kim, president of Leo Burnett Korea.
Sunnie Yun, analyst of Merrill Lynch International Incorporated Seoul Branch, said: "We are greatly impressed by Arc Worldwide Korea's boundless creativity, deep consumer insights and strong passions towards our business."
