- 12 month deal sees both players become Maxis brand ambassadors
- Both players have featured before in Maxis ads and launch events
Malaysia - Maxis has signed a sponsorship deal with local badminton stars Lee Chong Wei and Misbun Sidek until December 2010.
The two athletes are now official brand ambassadors for the telco.
"Maxis identifies with their high performance culture which motivates us to strive for excellence in our product and service delivery," Matthew Willsher, chief marketing officer for Maxis, said.
Both players had previously represented Maxis in numerous advertising campaigns, employee engagement programs as well as at events such as the Apple iPhone 3G Launch.
