Malaysia - Local lager, Jaz Beer will embark on a major marketing push in two months time as the brand prepares to enter the Malaysian nightlife scene.
Jaz Beer distributor, Napex Marketing said the locally brewed beer which launched four years ago will extend its reach to include clubs and entertainment venues. Jaz Beer is currently only available at coffee shops, food courts and restaurants.
"The Jaz Beer brand will most likely undergo a makeover. These efforts will be implemented to make Jaz Beer bolder, more hip, hot, confident, daring and rebellious to reach out to the younger generation of today," Desmond Pang, advertising and promotions manager, Napex Marketing, said,
Napex said it plans to launch new Jaz Beer products this year. The Jaz target market are beer drinkers aged 21 to 40.
In July last year, the brand created its first marketing team following a previous relaunch.
Samsung's former corporate marketing director, Bryan Lee then joined Napex as chief executive officer later that year.
