Shanghai - Lisa Wei (pictured) has resigned as partner, client leadership at Mindshare China and will be on gardening leave for the next three months.

There are no immediate plans to replace her role and her duties will be managed by the Mindshare office heads in China.

Andrew Meaden, leader for Mindshare North Asia, said Lisa has played a key role in supporting Mindshare China in many business wins and the management of key client relationships.

"I wish her all the best in her future pursuits," he added.

Wei was one of the founding members when Mindshare China launched in 1997.

In 2005, she was head of GroupM Trading where she played a key role in supporting GroupM agencies in new business wins.

In June 2008, Wei was promoted to managing partner at GroupM Trading and a few months later joined Mindshare China as partner for The Exchange.

The Exchange is one of three new divisions Mindshare created, which is responsible for detailed implementational planning and execution of its campaigns in an accountable way across all channels.

The department is one of Mindshare's key growth drivers that plays an instrumental role in implementing digital and content campaigns as well as new channels such as activation and digital TV including "traditional media".
