HSBC launches new wealth management campaign

Hong Kong - HSBC has launched an integrated above-the-line and below-the-line campaign for its new wealth management service aimed at bringing wealth management to the Hong Kong public

BatesAsia 141 conceptualised the advertising campaign themed 'HSBC wealth management helps you achieve your every goal in life today' targeting those who are getting married, having children and retiring from work, which kicked off on 4 June and will run till September this year.

The 45 second TVC features renowned theatre artist, Jim Chim narrating his dreams of going to Europe to study drama and starting his theatre company to build his career as well as having to look after his family now emphasising the fulfilment of different goals at different stages of life.

The launch campaign includes a talk show event titled "Rich Dad, Happy Dad" hosted by financial expert Cho Yan-Chiu and Jim Chim to be held in September.

Apart from TVCs, the campaign will run on print, radio and MTR stations as well as at the bank branches and POSM.

Mindshare handles the media buying and planning duties.
