Thailand- Grey Group Thailand has appointed Pornthep Piyarat as executive creative director with the aim of boosting the agency's creative product.

In his new role, Piyarat will offer strategic creative direction and invest in new talent, thereby raising the creative standards of the agency.

Reporting directly to Pattaraporn Wongmesak, Grey Group Thailand's associate vice president & country manager, Piyarat (pictured) will work in close partnership with Ali Shabaz, chief creative officer of Grey Group Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

He will supervise creative on a range of brands that include Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, AXA, UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) and Siam Park City.

"We are extremely excited to have Pornthep back with us. During his last tenure with Grey Group Thailand as creative director, his campaign for GlaxoSmithKline won the agency a Bronze Lion at Cannes. I am confident he will perform the same miracle once again," Wongmesak said.

An industry veteran with 21 years of experience, Piyarat has had stints at agencies such as DY&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and JWT, Spa-Hakuhodo and BBDO Bangkok.
