Publicis rejigs management in South Asia
India - Publicis, South Asia has announced senior level changes at Publicis Ambience.
As a part of these changes Aniruddha Banerjee (pictured), president and chief operating officer and Ashish Khazanchi, national creative director (NCD) have been promoted to chairperson and vice-chairperson respectively.
Khazanchi will now focus on the business development at the agency, along with overseeing the creative output. With this change, Publicis Ambience will have a single NCD structure.
Prasanna Sankhe will continue with his duties as national creative director.
"The core management team for the agency will now include Ashish and Ani," Nakul Chopra, chief executive officer, South Asia, said. The decision, says Chopra, is in line with the future leadership team that will lead Publicis Ambience.
Banerjee will continue to handle his earlier duties as president and COO.
Both Banerjee and Khazanchi joined Publicis Ambience in 2007.
