OGILVY SINGAPORE CREATIVE APPOINTMENT LEO BURNETT
- Ogilvy & Mather appoints head of art
- Jon Loke joins team
- Formerly of Leo Burnett
Singapore - Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Singapore has appointed Jon Loke as head of art, filling the gap after Eric Yeo was promoted to creative director earlier in the year.
In his role, Loke will be working closely with creative director Troy Lim on the agency's major accounts like SoyJoy, Health Promotion Board, Panadol, GE Money, IDA, Huggies, Prudential and Coca-Cola.
His appointment is effective February 2010 and he will report directly to executive creative director Robert Gaxiola.
"We've got a lot of dynamic people around here creating interesting work for our clients, and Jon is a perfect fit for us. Having cut his teeth in creative shops such as Mother London, he has a fresh and open perspective to doing things," Gaxiola said.
"The needs of our clients are changing and a multi-channel range of solutions now requires a new blend of talent. Jon will be a great addition to this evolution."
Loke is no stranger to the local creative scene, having worked in agencies such as Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi. He has also worked on an array of accounts including Asia Pacific Breweries, McDonald's, Philips, Samsung and Sony Ericsson among others.
