Senior Merchandiser

Hong Kong - The senior project engineer will oversee product development and cycle, and the negotiation of production and costing with vendors.

Role Description:

• Manage merchandising, buying, product development for ladies ready-to-wear and accessories
  To develop comprehensive seasonal line plans with a strong understanding of the market
  Partner with the merchandising team and product design team with Europe head office throughout the development process to focus the line
  Take charge of all placement orders, pricing and production control related to price negotiation, material control, and quality & delivery control
  Enhance the merchandising process, ensure production can meet tight delivery schedule and good quality
  Maintain good relationship with clients and factories

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of woven / knit garment trading / manufacturing preferably in ladies fashion products for the Europe Market
• Capable to deal with overseas buyers / factories / suppliers independently
• Good management skills in communication, co-ordination and overall controlling of order progress
• Strong planning and organization skills with an analytical and innovative mind
• Excellent command of spoken & written English and Mandarin is a must
• Responsible, smart, well-organized and can work under pressure
• Less experience will be consider as Senior Merchandiser
