Singapore - BatesAsia 141 has named John Lambie as regional integration director - in his newly created role, Lambie is responsible for growing the digital and new media community within BatesAsia and 141.
Lambie is also charged with attracting digital and integrated talent, and will work with client teams to provide thought leadership for their brands. He reports to Digby Richards, chief operating officer, BatesAsia 141 and is based in Singapore.
"At BatesAsia, we're embracing the biggest change in our industry by baking digital into our standard offerings, and hiring John will help steer us closer to our vision," Richards said.
"There are no one-size-fits-all communications strategies. Integration is really about giving people the cues to find and engage with your brand with the tools they prefer to use, not building a fortress of media silos around your brand," Lambie said.
Lambie was most recently with McCann Erickson in Australia. This new role marks his return to the local scene - he previously headed the creative team at XM Asia. In the course of his career, Lambie has worked on brands such as Nokia, Telstra, Optus, SingTel, StarHub, Sony, Visa, Singapore Airlines, MTV, Carlton United Breweries, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Arnotts Biscuits, Audi, Mercedes Benz, General Motors and Shell, amongst others.
