Borg to energise AGL

Regional - Marketing director of Asia Pacific for Hitwise, James Borg will leave the company this week to take up the role of online marketing manager for the Australian Gas Light Company (AGL Energy).

Hitwise has yet to confirm a replacement but it is understood that marketing assistant, Rebecca Hannon will look after day-to-day operations, while analyst, Sandra Hanchard will look after Hitwise APAC PR, in the meantime. A replacement is expected to be announced shortly.

"I hope to implement a number of online strategies to assist AGL and their competitive standing in the Australian utilities marketplace. Working for Hitwise has given me a tremendous amount of online knowledge which I am excited about taking to market in a competitive space," Borg said.

Borg has been at Hitwise for six years and been responsible for the company's PR, advertising, branding, online and offline marketing for the Asia Pacific region.
