Singapore - MediaCorp has appointed Jessie Sng to succeed Zita Ong as managing director of its publishing business, with Ong having decided to pursue other interests.
With over 20 years of operations and management experience, Sng started her career with the Pepsico group before moving on to management positions in Telecom Equipment and Singapore Press Holdings.

"I am delighted to be given the opportunity to helm the publishing business for Singapore's leading media company," Sng said.
"These are challenging times for the print industry and it is my hope that I can continue to take the publishing business beyond print, leveraging on the multi-media platforms of MediaCorp and new technologies."
In her new role, which begins January 1, Sng will report to Shaun Seow, MediaCorp deputy CEO (news, radio, interactive & print).
