Singapore - StarHub has added two new channels to its cable TV platform - The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network will make its debut on 15 June.
Both channels are operated by AETN All Asia Networks (AAAN), which is a joint venture of A&E Television Networks (AETN) and Astro All Asia Networks (ASTRO). AAAN is headquartered in Singapore and has just commenced operations to launch and operate branded channels and services across SE Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
"We are glad to partner with AAAN to bring The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network to our customers here -- our digital platform has allowed us to expand our channel offerings significantly," Thomas Ee, StarHub's senior VP of Cable, Fixed & IP Services said.
"We are pleased to offer The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network on StarHub Digital Cable - we believe viewers here will appreciate the entertaining story-telling both channels have to offer," Alan Hodges, MD, Asia Pacific, A&E Television Networks said.
The History Channel features programming that covers a variety of topics including ancient and contemporary history, military history and conflict, and technology and transport. The Crime & Investigation Network examines stories, biographies of murderers, serial killers and outlaws, as well as unexplained mysteries.
