IPHONE COMMERCIAL RADIO NEW MEDIA
Hong Kong - Commercial Radio Hong Kong has had initial success from the launch of its free iPhone application, receiving more than 40,000 downloads since its mid-November launch.
The “Commercial Radio HKToolbar” application allows users to stream CRHK channels live and read the news on one application simultaneously.
Users with access to Facebook and Twitter can share HKToolbar news with friends and followers and view photos taken by DJs at studio with the "903 Live" and "881 Live" function, which maintains the interactive feature of Hong Kong Toolbar.
As part of the launch Commercial Radio Interactive is offering marketers advertising opportunities such as splash ads on the loading page, top banner ads that runs through the app in every news section, and live page ad in "881 Live" or "903 Live" section.
To Cheung, general manager of Commercial Radio Interactive, said CRI will continue to explore opportunities in mobile advertising and develop applications with unique content for different mobile platforms.
"With our creative capabilities, CRHK serves not only as a multi-dimensional communication channel for listeners and users but also as an end-to-end marketing solution provider to advertisers," he said.
Launched in mid-November, the application managed to climb to the top of Apple's iTunes Store following its launch.
