HWM Singapore undergoes facelift

Singapore - HardwareMAG Singapore (HWM), published by SPH Magazines, will sport a brand new look when it rolls out its December 2009 edition.
The consumer technology magazine will feature a redesigned cover and pages, as well as new editorial content.
Amongst the new sections and additions, ‘Gear' is now prefaced with a more prominent gadget selection, while ‘Trends' takes the latest buzz from the web and the streets and compiles it into "news you can really use" in smart commentary form.
‘Test' is now a bigger section of award-winning devices and software that is tested in-house by the HWM team.
Popular regulars like the features, how-to guides and contests remain while In addition, it will sport a slightly trimmed size that is easy to hold.
"We are confident the redesigned version will satisfy our loyal readership base even more and at the same time, attract new and discerning readers," HWM editor David Chieng said.
"We are certain that our reads will continue to stretch boundaries and remain relevant to our consumers."
Eugene Low, deputy managing director, SPH Magazines, commented: "Loyal HWM readers and advertising partners have been following HWM's growth since it started as a hardcore computer magazine in 2001.
"Today, having evolved into a consumer lifestyle technology magazine, it will fuel readers' passion further with beautiful, glossy photo spreads of products, exemplary design, trusted reviews and how-to guides."
The December issue will be on sale from today.
