Hong Kong - STAR has signed an exclusive distribution deal with now TV to run music channel CHANNEL [V] Taiwan will join now TV's existing CHANNEL [V] lineup that includes CHANNEL [V] India, CHANNEL [V] International and CHANNEL [V] Mainland China.

"CHANNEL [V] Taiwan has been captivating the youth audience across Taiwan with popular programmes and music events and, starting from tomorrow, viewers in Hong Kong will have the chance to experience the same compelling programming," Jason Siu, general manager for STAR Taiwan said.

"We are confident that CHANNEL [V] Taiwan will be very well received by Hong Kong's substantial youth market," Janice Lee, executive vice president for TV marketing and content development for PCCW said.

CHANNEL [V] Taiwan features the latest music videos and self-produced programmes such as Blackie's Teenage Club and Lollipop, which are closely followed by Taiwan's youth, keen on keeping up with what's hot in music, fashion and lifestyle. The music channel also features large-scale annual music events, such as le party and [V] Power Concert that attracts thousands of music lovers to see popular Asian artists from across the region.
